Team Sizes

<div class="IPBDescription">small or large?</div> I noticed that strategies for playing both sides depends on how many players on your team you have. I noticed that on a 10 vs 10 game, aliens can pretty much get 3 hives in like 5-10 min. But in like a 4 v 4 game, which is really small, the marines usually win(if they have a good commander). I am wondering what game size did you balance the game with and whats the best team size for each side.

From what Ive experienced thus far, and only been playing for a week now, is smaller games are in favor of aliens. Because no matter how many marines there are, 1 must be commander. if theres 5 men, thats 20% of the team, whereas 12 marines, you have many more to do bizzniss with.
but always depends on players of course. Ive played on aliens with 7 and its was wonderful. Good communication, teamwork, umbra on fades, etc.
And other times ive had 7 fools runnin in circles and doing alot of nothing.
But im still new myself. But does seem to get hard once marines have hmg and heavy armor.
