Release date of Subnautica ?

I've discovered Subnautica - my first "survival", and a truly amazing game - since only a couple of weeks (euh, yes, I've to thank the sale prices on Steam, shame on me !).
Days after day, I went back in its marvelous biomes, sharing great times filled with enthusiasm, ... and nervous tension too.
While playing, plenty of questions slowly raised in my mind : what do the devs plan ahead to enhance the game ? what about the story ? how will they surprise us further and further ? And (of course) is there already a kind of release date for a final version (if intended) ? I've searched the forums, UW's trello and so on, ... but still, I came across no real information about that matter.
Is it just too early to speak of that ?

This is their UNOFFICIAL roadmap. There are no details and most importantly, no confirmations. The best thing to do is just wait it out.
