Fps Help!

Ive been playing since halloween and the greatest annoyance to me is my "jumping" around. I will be running around a corner and i will jump back around the corner and have to repeat the process. It doesnt do it on some servers but on others it is horrible. I know its not my connection because im always double digits on cable. My comp is 600 mhz with 319 ram and a geforce 2 64 mb video card. I run max payne with no slowdowns so i dont know how it can be my comp. If there are any config ideas i would appreciate them.

    It definately has to be "lag," since I've experienced this before and I have a very nice DSL connection myself. It's usually on the server side having hangups for one thing or another. The Dev are working on the lag issues, which are definately getting better since the first game I've played on ver1.01.

    I've noticed that the lag gets worse when there are more than 12 people playing and when there are LOTS of Offensive Chambers and Turrets being made, especially in a small area.

    Best thing to do is find a server with about 12 players max...it may help some.

    Yea man , move along to a diff server. I have dsl and I have a fine connection. I ping the servers in gspy for like 40, go ina nd have 40-60. From what ive seen the servers give back inaccurate pings, because ive seen everyone, including me, averaging 160 ping. Still played fine.
    But on one server, it got bad, and everyone had 500. Except one guy, poor bastid had 9999.

    Yeah, try out different servers and find the ones that give you the best ping. Add them to the favorites list when you have the time to remember them. Its to the point now where I leave if my ping is over 200-300.
