I had an odd idea today I thought I would share. I think it has many possibilities, some drawbacks, and could possibly be a very hard mod to make.
What if you could say overlay a video of your choice in the ready room. I imagine it like a floating rectangle in front of a wall in the ready room. Kind of like a floating flat screen monitor or something. On this "monitor" a video would play that was watchable in the ready room. I was thinking it would stream youtube videos, but it might be better if the video was on the server itself.
Potential uses of this could be:

- A TAW recruitment video

- Probably the best use, but ns2 news from http://ns2news.wix.com done by @yojimbo himself because he has a delightful accent

I had a feeling this would be on the difficult side of things but I did not know how difficult. It was an interesting enough idea to share though.
I have occasionally been playing on your NA server having some good games. Every 15 seconds there is message in the bottom left saying TAW is recruiting. Every few minutes a TAW member asks people to join TAW. I can only imagine a video in the background talking about why "you" should join TAW "now."
