So I was messing around in the experimental version when I spawned in an exosuit, just to see what it looked like. ( I couldn't link a pic in with this post) When I spawned it in it looked like an exosuit made of green-brown metal plates. so I climbed in and it moved around like normal. After this, I went into free cam and it moved as I moved so I travelled upwards to try and get some distance so I could see it properly when the depth counter started rapidly ticking down, to about 30,000 meters before subnautica stopped responding.

    The use of unreleased features will tend to break things.

    That said the easiest way to fix it is to open the console and enter kill and you should respawn someplace safe.
