    i want to test performance on my K56CM notebook. i need to play 640x480, but did played the Mass Effect 3 on 1024x768 with full detail level.

    Need overview of concrete requirements i.e. What does it is mean to be a playtester?

    @gzhegow - It's actually better for us to have playtesters that have a wide range of equipment! If you meet minimum specs, you're good to go. Fill out an application if you're interested!

    @CCTEE - Usually PT starts out with everyone chatting while we join up in Teamspeak and get into the server. Once we're all in, everyone joins a team and we go through bug testing. We use a (heavily modified) program called Mantis as a bug tracker. We'll go through the list of items that the programmers have requested us to test. Once we get through all of those items and either approve or reject them (based on whether or not they're working) and report any other bugs that are found, we usually move on to playing games. We balance the teams and just play some rounds! We look for bugs and keep an eye on balance changes. We'll play all of the official maps and any maps that are in the works - we've been playing a lot of Derelict recently!

    When it gets close to patch time we have a "Release Candidate" build. When that happens, we check every single maps for any bugs / holes / issues with the nav mesh / etc. as well as look for any showstopping bugs.

    Natural Selection 2 EUPT is on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8 PM UK / 9 PM CET / 12:00 PM PST / 3 PM EST
    Natural Selection 2 NAPT is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 PM PST / 7 PM EST / 12 AM UK / 1 AM CET

    All PTs are welcome to attend any/both PT sessions, regardless of where they're from. You don't have to be from North America or Europe to apply, either! As long as you can make either EUPT or NAPT :smiley:
