Oh, okay, this isn't a living reaper. I spawned 2 in experimental and they really...really toyed with my pod and I. However, one suddenly died, and started..well floating upwards, the corpse was floating up..into space...away..gone..

I had a live one that flew into the air when I spawned it, like literally it flew so high, high above me, that I couldn't see it then it came back down on my pod with me standing on top and I was like "HOLY CARP! D=" If only I had known how to take screen shots =(
