No Hulls plate in Steam edition?

Hey, i bought the game from steam store not to long ago, Because i saw that this game had steam inventory with a cool item, but what i did not know was that i had to buy a special edition of the game, in order to get the Hulls plate...

Is it possible to get the hulls plate even if you didnt buy the special edition, or is it any possibility to make the special edition upgrade possible on the Subnautica steam store page?

Kind regards a quite upset Subnautica player ;/
