I see in potential there may be a way to use a stasis gun to help one's pet survive slightly longer? Does this mean we will be able to actually have pets???? Sounds really cool!

    Yes. In fact you can have a pet right here right now. Take a bunch of Peepers and Metal with you, locate a Stalker, feed them, toss metal at them. Observe. It doesn't work all the time but it is possible. Give it a try!

    Ahhh, I had heard you could feed Stalkers straight from your hand but never realized one could play catch with them, that's a start !
