Subnautica won't start

I tried everything, installed an uninstalled the game twice, it just won't launch on my computer i don't know why. I bought Subnautica on pre-Early Access on subnautica website, then i putted it on steam. Error message is "Unknown error" or "exe missing". What can i do about it ? I love Unknown Worlds and want to play this really much ! I keep smiling but it's starting to get on me !

Are you running Avast Antivirus? It detects it as a false positive. If you do, just make an exception rule for the SN folder and run a file check through steam - that should fix it.

I just checked my file, no exe for subnautica here, what should i do to change that ?

Or, are you running Avast? I know it will delete the executable so you need to make exception list. http://steamcommunity.com/app/264710/discussions/0/626329187163188777/

Worked like a charm, man you are the best. I played a lot of NS2, i'm happy that I can try Subnautica now ! Thanks for the good and fast answer !
