Getting Closer to having a Save Game Feature & Release on Steam?

Hi.
Just wondering how close you are on having a save game feature. People are asking about it on Steam.
Now this is only my opinion, and doesn't mean much as far as you can probably toss me but I am also wondering when you will be releasing it on Steam?
Already this game is beyond any other Alpha game on steam, and it's impressive how stable it is. Anyway, it would be nice to see this title get on steam before the 25th, I think it would be a nice thing to wake up on December 25th, and see it gifted to you by a family member or a friend.
