Hi,
it's really interesting to see you dev's discuss things on Trello. In the discussion mentioned above I saw the issue coming up regarding grabbing differently sized objects / fish.
My suggestion: An "adhesive /suction" type glove.
You wouldn't need to grab around things. Instead you'd simply touch them. You could even make the surface of the glove adapt to the object (e.g. forming little suction cups when catching a fish).
An alternative would be a "grabbing device".
As for storage I could imagine using a rubber like bag.
Could be a tiny ball / roll with a seal on top - when used it'd inflate.
Also I can imagine having a robo carrier companion at higher "levels". Either with internal storage or just as a carrier, capable of pulling multiple storage bags.
I post this here as I didn't find a better way. If there is one please let me / us know.
