"Nuke from Orbit" option

Due to the number of steps necessary, and the general desire to make it easier for anyone to attempt this fix, I'd like to see some kind of simple "Nuke From Orbit" option. This could be a stand-alone program (shipped with NS2), that the user could be told to run. It would pop up a dialog telling the player what is about to happen, before clicking "Nuke".
Would be nice to have (but not required):
- A simple log window of the steps being taken
- Option to auto-reinstall NS2 once it is finished nuking. That way, a player could just click "Nuke" and come back later and the game would be ready to go.
- Ability to unselect nuking of certain pieces
