The Scottish Resistance is a weapon for the Demoman in TF2 that launches sticky bombs which don't explode on impact, but can be selectively detonated.
Adv. Metabolise is a pretty boring ability and is actually the only 'upgrade' for an existing ability in the game, so it should probably wander off.
The Fade is the only lifeform without some form of AoE ability. However giving it some sort of simple fire & explode weapon would leave the Fade horribly OP. So instead it should be given a more tactical AoE option.
When the Fade clicks LMB a sticky bomb would launch, bounce off any players and stick to the first structure or surface it lands on. It'd activate about 1 second after being fired. The bomb will then detonate when the Fade clicks LMB again (with this ability selected) while looking at the sticky bomb. If it's behind a wall, the Fade is shown an outline of the bomb and can still detonate it. The bomb will fizzle and defuse if the Fade goes out of range or dies or if the bomb is destroyed.
If you watch the video you can see the Scottish Resistance isn't that great as an offensive weapon; it's best used for laying traps. I'm no fade, but I can imagine the better fades making use of this ability by dropping a bomb on the ground in the middle of combat and then detonating it while they're blinked up in the ceiling.

@Soul_Rider I remember Acid Rocket. It was a spammable rocket launcher that you could fire & forget. Watch the video at the top of my first post the Scottish Resistance isn't spammable or a weapon you can fire & forget.
A couple of other things I didn't mention:
This is intended as a late game weapon that'd be available at biomass 6 or 7.
I haven't thought about specific damage values/types, but it should only do enough damage to kill a a1 marine that has already taken a swipe.
In it's own right it could be balanced from a damage perspective, but fades should have to be in close to do damage, not hiding around a corner. If a fade can kill without putting it's life on the line it becomes way too powerful.
