is there any way to make a server appear on gamespy arcade and open to outside connection without closing the firewall program?

Somewhere within the options, there is a tool to add trusted services, in this case, it would be HLDS.
And usually, the first time you run HLDS w/ Zone Alarm, it asks, "Do you want hlds.exe to act as a server?"
To this, you answer yes, of course.

I haven't used Zone Alarm in a month or so, So I don't really remember.
You do need to set it as a server. You aren't behind any other firewalls are you?
Such as one in a router?
Half-life requires port 27015 open I think. Something like that. You can read through the readmes for that info.

I dont remember HL being on TCP 6003 err whatever.
