Answers to frequently asked questions:

Q: Is It Really Free?

A: Absolutely!

Q: How can you offer free hosting?

A: Why do we offer free hosting? Simple - we offer a fantastic incentive (free service) so you will take the plunge and create your own web site. Go ahead, create your own web site and see what happens!

We think that by the time your free year is up, you will have found the value of having your own web site and will be ready to pay a small monthly charge (starts as low $5/month) and take a step up to our paid services.

Q: Can I create my own web site?
A: Certainly! Once you sign up, you receive a user name and password to access your account. You control your site and can develop it as you see fit. You can also work with other web site developers, or let a friend or family member create the site.

Q: Am I locked into your service?

A: No. You can take your site to any provider at any time. We know you'll be so happy with our service you won't want to go elsewhere.

Q: Can you set up my web site?
A: We do offer web site design and development through our parent company, Earthbound. Please see the Earthbound consulting site for more information and rates. Typical setup for a basic web site start at $250 and up.

Q: Will I outgrow your free service?
A: We certainly hope so! The free service is a "bare bones" service. If your site grows beyond its basic configuration (see technical specifications), you will want to move to one of our paid web hosting options.
