Replace NS2 main theme?

<div class="IPBDescription">WILL IT BLEND?</div>Is there a way we can use the deluxe edition soundtrack to replace the NS2 menu theme with the one that was present prior to release, or even a song of our choice? I believe the track I am talking about is called Frontiersman by David John, and it gives me the FEELIN' of being a hero, as opposed to the current chugalug hardcore (not a bad thing).

    To be proactive you could email the man himself and ask if he would consider contacting UWE and negotiate some access terms with UWE for his IP.

    I've already sent 5 emails to David John, and 5 to each UWE employee informing them of the 5 emails I sent to David John.

    Incidentally, is there any copyright/IP issue with composing a 'new' theme or incidental music that's based on the NS1 tracks? I've been toying with this idea for some time and might start this project. I guess it'd be best to start off with a proof of principle and see if UWE would be interested in implementing something I could come up with...
