Spectator Hud Elements during game time

So, I did some spectating the other night, I don't usually do it. I couldn't believe my eyes, the UI for spec is full of useful information that players / commanders want all the time during the game.
The alien tech tree especially, i've lost count of how many times as khamm i've had upgrades ninja'd.
The tech-tree should appear for players when they bring up the map, obviously their own team only. A few other things could be moved to the map screen to clear up clutter for the players.
The indications that the comm is researching something are also great! A smaller less visually intrusive version would be great during play.
