Bring back the old HotKeys

So basically i`m talking about F1-F3 for defensive upgrade , F5-F8 for clock and F9-F12 for the rest.
It is hard for me , to get back into battle quickly if i have to click so many upgrades , doing F1 F4 F9 then evolve would be great.

Also as a suggestion , please make templates for upgrades , so let`s say i save it as "speed - carapace - skulk " and only clicking on it i will evolve into the desired upgrades.

I have no idea what you guys just sugested and "up-ed"? I started playing NS2 from october last year. Can someone explain. Pleaaaase with icecream on top. :P

I believe he is referring to the ability to bind specific likeforms and upgrades to specific keys. That way, instead of pressing 'b' then clicking each upgrade, you could instead press a button to automaticaly evolve that upgrade. For his example F1 = carapace F2 = regen. Less clicking involved.

Personally i would just like a "last upgrades used" button

In Natural Selection 1 ( from 2002 + ) you could bind the key F1 from your keyboard to upgrade Carapace , F2 for the second one etc.

In Natural Selection 2 those bindings are gone , making me lose time while the marines assault a RT / Tech Node / Hive .

Please bring back the hotkeys for upgrades !

Hmmm... Although it's a fairly quick process to evolve and choose upgrades. I have to say shortcuts would only make the game better. I'm for everything that makes the game "flow". :D
