Wow, I Had My Best Match Ever!

<div class="IPBDescription">A new Ravlen Record!</div> I was playing for the full round, went around 11 and 0 as skulk to start, and then it just kept going once we got fades. The marines put up a good fight, even took me down into red digits many many times. But somehow I would just manage to escape, or they'd run out of bullets, or I'd get that last acid rocket in, or something. But MAN I was on fire! They had HA and HMG before we got our third hive, but we pushed them back and finished it off.

standard install, as far as I know. I was using HL for CS before NS, but I think that was a basic install too. I haven't changed a think except for keybinds.

Haha, you ever think that the only reason we dunno how many kills a Marine gets is because you cant SEE marine kills? Trust me, im sure there are plenty of games where a marine went 45+ kills. Don't sit there and tell me just because you cant see it, it didnt happen.

That's a SWEET score man. I got over 100 kills and only 20 deaths on ns_bast one night as a Fade in the vent above Marine Start (Bile Bombs, Scent of Fear, Carapace, Adrenaline, 2 Defense Chambers, and some really skilless alien teammates/marine opponents that couldn't finish the game), but not dying even once is incredible.

As cool as that 100/20 score was here's <i>my</i> crowning achievement so far: the Triple Xenocide kill!

Coincidentally this also happened on ns_bast at the big elevator shaft in the Marine Start- they were looking over the lip down into the shaft and I ran up the wall under them and the rest is history. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Tons and tons of A), not as much B). I had a clanmate trying to take me out for a while, but he gave up and had to go (not in the screenshot). I think I got the most help from the defensive turrets our gorges put up <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

It is more a testament of how bad a marine team can be without teamwork. I essentially was just killing them as they appeared through phase gates one at a time. They never attacked me in groups, always alone. It left me tons of time to take one out, heal, go in to the current base, work on the factory, take out the next that came through, run away and heal again.

The only way marines can kill big aliens is to be aggressive, you can't let me run away and heal to 100% and come back to attack you. You can't sit there and bug your commander for HP knowing I'll be back. Instead, find a friend and hunt me down. Two HMG's will mince a fade down in seconds!
