Apparently observatories no long detect cloaked cysts. Here’s a screen shot of me cysting into marine base even though they have an obs built.

    I can't very well tell from the small screenshot, but it looks like you have an ink cloud going off near the edge of that infestation.

    1600x900 isn't huge, but it isn't all that small either...

    I was thinking that too, might just be a couple of marines standing near each other?

    IIRC, that's a crate, possibly marine on top of it. and from the aliens gathered around, seems that the marines might have had things to do other than pop cysts in the last 10 or so seconds. OBS jsut detects, still up to marines to pop them

    No ink cloud and if the obs detects them why do they show as cloaked? Last time I checked if a cloaked life form gets oo close the loose the cloaked look. Why arn't the cysts a bright oragne?

    Good point, they should become visible.

    The 'black cloud' is a marine structure or player.

    Not sure how I feel about such a change...but it's interesting either way.
