Microphone extremely quiet

My mic in game is very quiet and makes it impossible to communicate.

I am extremely loud in skype and vent so this makes very little sense.

My volumes are at max in steam and windows.

Anyone fix this?

    In game option to turn up microphone volume should do it?
    Theres also the "Levels" slider if u right click your audio device in windows and go to properties.

    I've got the same problem here, it's extremely annoying when you command.
    Did the same thing that OP and tested, my Mic works fine on Windows or Mumble too.

    I have this issue also. I have tried 2 microphones now, both are quiet ingame. Mumble I am loud in, however, ingame I am quiet as anything...

    What audio codec is NS2 using?
