When do people that pre-ordered recently get their copies?

My friend pre-ordered the game just a day or so before release, when does he get his free copy? About the same time the rest of the deluxe content goes out?

... that isn't how preorders work. The free copies are to people who paid 35$ for the beta access or the people who paid 40$ for alpha (or the 20$ like 3 years ago)

and this is the last info about the deluxe content:
We're will release a minor fix in around 5 hours. It will include all the Deluxe content too (artbook, soundtrack, wallpapers, etc.)
