Be glad for your son that no one made a stripper model yet :D

There's no significance other than there were hidden rooms in NS1 as well. And in other games. It's a hidden room...

What you guys have stumbled across is what's known as a "Secret Room."

This dates back to the original NS1 maps, where the mappers would create secret rooms as an easter egg for players to find, and they were usually hidden in an odd location of the ready room.

He always manages to find the hidden stuff, easter eggs. He was like,"Dad, I found the aliens party room!". I'm sure hell be happy to hear he found something"hidden".

I can't wait to play...maybe once I can pry him away.

So.... is this risque or benign? Because I don't want my kid finding it if there is anything remotely inappropriate.

Its just a big room with tables, a central elevated platform with a pole on it and some flashing lights. Unless you get the connection there isn't anything wrong with it lol.

I enjoy the secret rooms lol. Trying to remember which made had the gorge artwork and gorge towers.

I'm pretty sure only the beta players know about this room, so your son is actually quite the pioneer :)

It's completely harmless, don't worry. It's just a party floor pretty much
