can't connect to servers / no servers show up

I start my computer. Run NS2, there's lots of servers with tons of ppl playing now which is cool. So I'm gonna join a server: It either times out or just says unable to establish a connection. After that no servers show up anymore. I have to restart the game. When I get lucky and join a server, the game crashes in about 30 seconds:(

I get timed out every time I join a server, didn't have a problem before release though.

I got lucky and was able to connect to 2 more servers, but the game crashed right after I joined it. The second time, I was joining, precaching was finished and it looked like it's gonna join the server but it crashed again instead:(

Similar problem here. Game crashes after loading or at one time returned me to a black screen. I could hear the menu's sound as was moving my mouse around. The console said the game couldn't load many files. Couldn't grab a screen shot, I'll try reinstalling everything ... No luck for me, game was finally working fine after b226 ...

I get the no servers show up most of the time, however sometimes i do.
Generally i restart NS2 via task manager until the server list wants to work.
However when i do get the list and join i always time out and then the server list disappears.
