    yeah, true but I just look at it as some kind of collector habbit. I play rarely and I just happen to like it to see my hours count for a specific game (because NS2 is played as often as I can)

    I think the Counter-Strike Global Offensive beta became Counter-Strike Global Offensive at release, so if that's anything to go by you won't lose your hours played.
