Problem for typing at keyboard (game and steam)

I'm facing a very annoying problem here: every time that I'm playing ns2, suddenly I can't type at keyboard anymore. And when I try to press all the keys, it appears something like a chinese words option in the black part of my monitor (because I need to play at fullscreen windowed, 800x600...). So I just can't send any message to my team (or all), can't write anything at console and I also can't type at steam with my friends. And when I try to type at steam, it appears "CH" words, like I'm in chinese language. I tried to change to "ENG" but nothing happened.
I don't know if I'm activating something during the game (by typing some keys together) but the only way that I can solve this is quit the game (ns2) and launch again at steam.
Can you help me to fix or find out why is it happening? Because I don't like to speak very much at microphone, since normally I don't wanna show to the guys that there is a girl playing with them! +___+
