I pre-ordered the game back in alpha on 11/20/10 but i did not make a forum account until now i have receipt info if needed I also sent an email, justt wanted to make sure I would get a response either way

    I have this same problem, I have a friend who has been wanting the game for some time now and I was very excited to be able to gift it to him however my steam says that there's nothing new in my inventory or any pending gifts.

    I pre-ordered the game back in Build 183. Did I have to 'claim' anything or something?

    Now is that my key to activate on steam? I also read something about getting the deluxe edition if you had already pre-ordered but I am not too sure how that works since the code I got from using your link says activation code for NS2 standard

    If your code says NS2 standard then you bought NS2 standard. Hurry up and register it on Steam so that it gets upgraded to deluxe.

    Yeah, i bought the game like a year ago :P but found this on twitter: To be clear, the gift copies are still sliding through the pipes, and will not have arrived in your inventories yet. We are working on it.
