Nearly all textures missing?

Hi folks,

I was hoping you could help me out with a display issue I appear to have after purchasing and installing Natural Selection 2 last night

Please see the screenshot below..

<img src="http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/3126/missingtextures.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

As you can see nearly all the textures are missing or transparent. I've had a look over your tech FAQ's and a few other posts, but don't seem to be able to match this issue with anything.

If it will help my system specs are:

Windows 7 64-bit, fully up to date
AMD Phenom II x4 @ 3.4Ghz
ATI Radeon HD5850 @ standard settings (Catalyst version 12.8; Direct 3D 9.14.10.0924; OpenGL 6.14.10.11762)
8.00 Gb RAM

I run a water-cooled CPU so don't have any overheating issues and play a large array of games and none of them exibit this problem

Some of the other posts suggest a reinstall or a 'Verification of game cashe' through Steam

I've tried reinstalling and get the same problem, and after a cashe verification again it's the same.

I'd welcome any suggestions you may have as I'd dearly love to give this a go! (I'm a massive NS1 fan!)

Thanks in advance for your support.

    This is actually an easy fix :)

    Go into you CCC and disable all anti-aliasing related settings for NS2.exe, set them to application setting. You can enable it in the options/graphics menu. NS2 is using a different kind of FSAA called FXAA, this is the cause for everything apart from emission maps to become invisible

    Thanks for the quick response... I didn't have a profile created but CCC seemed to have one tucked away in the background somewhere (it asked me if I wanted to overwrite the existing profile for the game when I went to create a new one). After I'd created the profile I just deleted it (and consequently all the the settings associated with NS2) and it now looks perfect :D

    Thanks again
