Installed MOD now NS won't work

<div class="IPBDescription">Menu mod, has been completely removed.</div>So after hating the new interface, I downloaded the flash menu mod thing.
Game wouldn't load up.
Deleted mod.
Game wouldn't load up.
Removed mod from folder and checked integrity files.
Game loads up!
Connect to server... then the game never pops up. It just sits at a black screen until I open task manager, and then the debug menu pops up to submit my error. Half the time the submit error window disappears before I can click on it.
I have deleted entire ns2 folder, deleted the mod, re-installed ns2, checked the cache, restarted my computer, EVERYTHING.
I'd post the log file, but I've searched my entire steam folder and can't find it there, so apparently UWE has chosen the most ridiculous placement ever for the log files.

Regarding the Menu mod, do you have the newest version of it?
If you delete a mod and forget to remove the "-game menumod" it wont start.
If you have problems joining a server with menumod, start the gane with it, go to Mods and deactivate colored ghostbuilding. It should work then.
The log can be found, if you press the start button, then enter %APPDATA% in the search box, then go roaming and then Natural Selection 2.
