Whats silly is that all you need to do is move your camera away the moment it flares and you can move it back straight after. If its a feature its a silly one, so im pegging it as a low priority bug.

Currently, it blinds both enemies and friendlies. Never found flare to be useful, since its basically a waste of a drifter.
