The in-game model seems to arch backwards quite severely when it is standing still... :S

The onos in-game looks absolutely amazing when it is in motion, and <i>especially</i> when it ramps up to full speed. Not so sure on the standing still posture though.

Gorillas are much scarier than Rhinos, seriously. It's a perfect match for the Onos imho.

The only similarity i see is the walking on it's fists thing and the chest is higher then the backside thing... I am missing something aren't I?

We decided to make the Onos more gorilla-like to help with the animations and collision detection (I think it looks cooler too).

Also it makes little sense to have a staid, lumbering, heavy-on-its-feet rhino in a cramped level. Better something more athletic and agile.
