I said it and I will say it again WOW and bravo on all the work that went into the last patch, today I had the hands down BEST match ever and it was a long game too. I could enjoy the game without lag or anything like that and allso without even noticing that much I jumped into playing fade and lerk ( I play mostly gorge in NS1 ) and I didnt usually do that alot in NS1 as I often got killed very quickly but now I actully had fun with it, so in my book you are doing something VERY RIGHT for me to suddenly jump into classes I never used to use. so for that I thank you am not scared anymore to try these bad boys out, infact I will start jumping into commanding too wich is allso one of the things I was afraid to try out in NS1.
ps. I know I prolly misspelled lots of words here but bare with me English is not my first language.
yes good quality these past few builds at least 188 and before. my comp cant run build 189 because im using my crappy backup comp and my gaming comp said ****** u so sense it from u guys its definitely good quality
i agree, ive been getting ok performance before the past 2 builds. im running a phenom II x3 BE and a 512mb 5670, before i needed to use low settings to get playable frame rates (30+), but now i can use high AND enable the new AA, and i still get 30+ in non-combat situations. ive definitely notice a big increase in game performance in these last 2. thanks a lot guys, and im now scared of fades again! just like when i started playing ns1, love to have that feeling back!

It's all starting to come together in a really great game. :)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yes, this is how I feel about it too. I think the "beta" now truly deserves its title. The last few patches were a step forward similar to going from the engine test to the early alpha.

Yeah, great job everyone!
The latest patches were another huge leap forward and NS2 is really starting to feel great. What makes it even more exciting is how much more has yet to come and that the gameplay and game balance will still go through a lot of stages.
I hadn't tried out the beta in months, since right before the fade was added. Then I looked at the video on the main website 2 days ago and thought wow, fades are gonna be creepy as hell now.
And they are.
This is easily one of the best games I have played since the original Natural Selection. I'm not about to let the fact it's an early beta get in the way of that.

last night I had the best game I've ever had. 16 players too. those server optimizations did a lot, especially combined with animation transitions, occlusion culling etc. skulks are so easy to hit now for me. Was 18 - 3 with just a rifle. All the feature implementations like random starts really added to everything. (mini map I find is too opaque and inferior to normal one) . Didn't even suffer stale mates.. though I know it still occurs (theres many threads with great ideas on main page regarding this.)
Finally feels like a released game save for onos! Congrats guys and again AWESOME job!!

As much as getting criticism is important, comments like these are a real morale booster so thanks for taking the time!
