Marine Comm Bubblers ability

So the game is getting more balanced and marines have a better time winning now, but I think that they are missing something.

The marine comm needs a way to protect base without always having to beacon everyone back and/or turrents.

I propose that there be a new structure, similar to observatory but it attaches to the comm chair called a "wand." With this wand, the marine comm can select some marines by clicking and dragging a circle around the ones he wants. They will then be enveloped in nano-space bubbles and very quickly drift to the base. When they arrive in base, the marine bubblers can also float around like a slow lerk and their nano-space bubbles give them +300% armor. When the aliens destroy the armor, the nano-space bubble explodes, causing pbAOE splash damage to any nearby aliens.

This mechanic or something very similar is vital to the balance and function of the marine team.

    Okay, first of all you haven't even read the NS backlore. The way you purpose that nanotechnology could work is completely foolish. Sure, some schools of thought think it possible; that nanotechnology could be capable of such transportation. But until the TSA sufficiently audits and field tests this technology it hasn't been approved for the use. Will it ever be approved? Probably not. Classic Edison vs Tesla? Maybe, but I doubt you even considered what the reverse dark matter would do to the teleported marine's nervous system. Keep in mind phase gates (again, from the lore) only successful operate because of the way the Einstein bridge properly handles the free radicals inherent in any void space.

    Also, Not to be a ######, but next time try to do at least basic research. Honestly.

    Well maybe in the next patch the marines develop a new, superior technology using the ashes of Tesla rubbed into Bill Nye's bow tie. The bow tie is placed in a gamma-halogen nano space-glass jar which is attached to the tip of the marine Wand. Using those powers the marines can use the wand to channel Jean Grey to create a psycho-kinetic barrier around the marines which looks like a nano space-bubble but hovars without flapping.

    Then Jubilee can create rainbow fireworks which blind the aliens

    Now you're not even making sense. It's obvious you know nothing of nano technology. If just one of Jubilee's fireworks happened to enter the psycho kinetic barrier the result would be devastating... it would be like the like the Gulf of Tonkin incident but on a solar scale. Yes, you could argue that as an omega level mutant Jean may be able to counter the effects... but come on... do you really want this game mechanic to be based the concentration, dare I say luck, of a single person? If they're lost in the void they aren't coming back through the IP's -- that would violate one of Dr. Condon's (famous TSA scientist, not like you'd know) basic principles of nano reconstruction.

    Yeah, I'm pretty smart.
