That problem is on and off for me. For 2 weeks I was permanently logged in, then last week I was logged out every time, and this week I'm logged in again.
This has nothing to do with cookie settings, it's happening with default settings on 3 different machines with 3 different operating systems from 2 different networks.
See not staying logged in properly in the web feedback section for further discussion. Workaround for some: attempt to make a new topic or reply before logging in, then use the prompt from there to log in instead.

The only problem i have is that i can't log in on the first attempt and always need to log in a second time in order to actually be logged in. But i agree that UW should stop working on some stupid games asap and instead work on the things that are really important. It will be too late when somebody gets hurt by the earthquake.

look, someone's name we can use to cause a mini-quake
But on a more serious note, if someone has come time to do that, the forum seriously could need some improvements:
- direct link to advanced search at the top - a link to "my posts" (i.e. same like if you search for your own posts in the advanced search) - some overall improvements to the search engine (I would like to have an AND connection between the search terms by default, not OR (maybe optionally), search for exact phrase (put into quotes "") doesn't work either.
edit: well, actually the quotes do work but only if you go into the advanced search, first. Should work in the default search, too. And I would like to have the code that is checking for the minimum lenght of the search strings checking the whole lenght of something put in quotes rather than the length of the part strings. (so I could e.g. search for "broken leg" without getting the error cause leg is only 3 characters long)
Comments
I would post the relevant image but it is in terrible taste.
