    Nice vid. I especially like the transition where it.... inverts? the colours and goes from Fade to Skulk.

    yes i tryed a lot of colours but i think these bright colours are best :)
    i also tryed to get a nice sync and i hope i've done well...

    At least DeTeNa's video had some more kills made by aliens. Your nineLegends movie just has some crappy skulk part at the end where they kill marine spawn...

    Skulk getting 2 or 3 experienced marines players is what really requires skill, SG marine killing 4 skulks that all come 1 by 1 not so much...

You can't compare an NS1 video with an NS2 video; not in its current state. Your criticism was unnecessary and unfounded.

    Music, though nothing special, was appropriate to the nature of the video and timed well with the action. As always, music is subjective. I don't often listen to this type of music myself, but I enjoyed this snippet for what it's worth.

    Kill shots were quick, but I didn't feel like I needed to see a longer shot on them. It has a good feel to the video and didn't overstay its welcome. 3 minutes of this would be boring. 1 minute is great. I don't know if I'd call it a 'fragclip' though.

    And for the record, that drop kill was good.

    guys i had to record everything with fraps! there is no record demo command or anything like this, fraps takes the fps down to 30 and a 20 seconds file is about 4 GB.
    By the way that was my first NS2 vid and i think if there where a command at the console to record a demo or something it would be much easier to do something like this.
    oh yeah and did you realise that this game is in a beta phase? when the time has come i will make more vids like this and I'll try to do it better. Thank you for you feedback.

    ^ For some (maybe a minority) it does play like that. Even for me it plays smoothly at the start of games, on a good server...

    Its good to see more videos from people. NS2HD is great but it was getting boring that he was the only place you could go to for videos. I wanna see more fun vids like this with music.

    It's brave to try make a frag video in such an early stage :D
    Here's my crit :
    - Wrong music choice, it doesn't fit NS2 ambiance.
    - Frags aren't impressive, it either has to be impressive, or needs to be several frags in a row
    - The good point would be to the intro of the vid, it's very well done eventhough the first frag is the same kind as the one used in the beta trailer (gives a déjà vu feel =O )
    - Also it's laggy, but you can't realy help it lool

    It is usually rather smooth for me, although not perfect. It seems to be very server dependent. The server needs to have beastly hardware and a good connection, and even then it tends to get worse over time until it's restarted. I've gone from almost perfectly smooth to almost unplayable on the same server, under the same conditions (10+ players, lot's of hydras and sentries). One day it runs fine, the next day it runs like crap, then it crashes and then it's fine again.

    to all: please notice that this is a beta, i have to record with fraps so i have to use some onekills, but anyway there are lot of several frags in a row, i only edited them to be one with the music(sync)
    sure it is laggy i have to record with Fraps come on o_0 30 fps are not enough but there is no other way....
    With this clip i want to inspire all the people out there to build or join the NS2 movie scene, you can do it better? Yeah then do it and sometime there will be so much movies and fragclips and everyone will enjoy them. I know that i'm not the best moviemaker but i think with the options of now i've done well.

    I didn't say he should make fragmovie out of absolutely amazing clan matches. But what he showed is simply not interesting at all. I see such frags every 10 seconds when I play.

    Sorry I was a bit late to the party. I love it! DeTeNa I really appreciate how hard it is to make movies like this in NS2 with no demo recorder, you clearly put alot of effort into this. Nice job! Going to post it in my channel comments section :)

    Hey guys,
    iam back now and i want to do a new NS2 Fragvideo much better than my first one....
    So my question is: Is there a new console command for recording and playing demos so i don't have to record with fraps anymore?
