Totaly I can say I spend 1 of my day, not more !

    You can generate by Overview.exe command.

    Anyway i upload the .rar version including overviews and a simple info text

    Thank you so much woody, I just played this map on your server.

    And I want to report those below if it is helpfull for you or for UWE

    1. When I joined there were 2 Command Stations probably someone tested and I sold the other one. But somehow when I put an IP it disappaers or sanks I dont know. Normaly in my LAN test there were no problem. And just checked and no problems.

    2. I ate the base as an alien and game didnt finished, I cant restart map by myself. When I join as a marine there is no base now :) .

    3. Server seems is a bit laggy then others, but pings are good. I connect from Turkey I dont know where the server is. But also USA servers are fine from here.

    Things wrong with the map:

    <ul><li>Your navigation_waypoint are wrong and also lack their related group to work properly</li><li>You don't have a minimap_extends</li><li>There should be only one tech_point set to a team (meaning one alien only and one marine only) I think this is the reason the map doesn't reset</li><li>You have two power_points in one location entity, I probably will not work. Haven't tested it, but I guess it would produce some kind of conflict...</li><li>Siege map? :P</li></ul>

    Maybe have a look at <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/wiki/index.php/Ns2_sample" target="_blank">ns2_sample</a> to see how things work

    No there is, some objects are hidden, you should open minimap layer from the layers window

    It works fine. no conflicts right now.

    Pretty odd though, the old build of ns2_sample (build160_01) is fully compatible with 161...

    This will be a performance map and will be less upgrades because of it is a performance map. And we didnt play in this map with 16vs16.
    So no traditional version of this map. But there is my another map (ns2_thedron) still working (it is version 131 now) on it, I need some Spark Editor upgrades and waiting for it.

    Btw version history of ns2_basic is added on the top .

    Normaly mostly I finished this playable map except vents. But there are less trims and some triangulation bugs because of a lot of small polygons in large faces, and also, 3 long halls waiting to remake them.

    My real problem is there are some rooms rotated 30 or 60 degres with the ref. of. global X,Y,Z. So It is really hard to trim or make changes on those walls.
    I really dont know how you trim, but I really sux. Facing rectangles is also dificult for me. Sometime I have to swap each of them. Line tool and welding need to be improved.

    In example try this in this ns2_basic map, select all and rotate everything 30 degres, now try to move walls, objects, try to add vents etc. It is realy hard to position them correctly.

    As in props and faces selected together don't match up? I think that's going to be an always their problem as the modeler defines global position of 0 and XYZ axis. Just takes a little more time but like you said, with practice, you'll get there.

    the extrude tool is probably your best bet. sometimes it's better to make a wall with the normal angles and then rotate it to fit.

    The problem with the extrude tool is everything is automatically welded. I only ever use the face tool to create a face, if I need more than 4 sides I then shape it with the line tool.

    Yess, extrude is good. That is the only thing working on rotated walls.

    And how do you rename locations it sux too. Cuz it uses short-cut keys while typing location name. So what am i do, open notepad, type name of location, select all, cut, go to location name edit box, paste there, enter to confirm. Roflll !

    I think UWE is using a better Spark Editor. In example in the last maps u can see meshes in hives, probably they used a mesh tool which is not exist yet !
