Dunno if its only my machine or everybody has this... its relatively fast and not as big of a problem as if you would record a video of a monitor or lightbulb with matching fps/ hz/frequency.
It looks a little bit like a rough gradient from TOP TO BOTTOM with a few steps. (but its not a gradient..)

This is best viewable in the main menu, or in times you stand still... but its there - all the time.
You usually acclimatize yourself to it(tell yourself its not a bug - its a feature o_O) but if you know it and/or focus a bit it gets really annoying.

Stop it!

(60hz monitor(dvi cable), gtx275 (8xx somthing mermory) baseclockspeed, basic driver settings, newest nvidia driver, usually play at medium 1080p... flicker is there whatever setting(ugly or high) i choose)

PS: not recordable via fraps etc. ofc.

Just deleted the whole game + appdata stuff, atm redownloading... => full reinstall.

I ll try, but i dont think its the shadows.

ITs like the refreshrate is a tinytinytiny bit too slow, hard to describe...

Graphic visuals are fine, shadows are fine too... no glitches, missing textures etc...

You mean you have tearing because of no vsync option?

    Its not tearing.

It stays with vsync is on.

Its like there are a lot "scanlines" on the screen...

Im an idiot, its horizontal not vertical...<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

its a bit like this... no borders ofc. its just a flickering in this PATTERN (not very strong but still visible)

Yeah that's tearing, it's usually caused by no vsync, as far as I know NS doesn't have any vsync option at the moment.

yup, pretty much sounds like vsync to me...

That's interlacing, the game should not be interlaced, the only time you see interlacing is in really old games where they couldn't render everywhere on screen because of poor processing power.

no its not vsync... it would look like this screenshot.

    <img src="http://www.nhancer.com/help/images/VSync.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

You saying you see something like when someone video tapes a tv, like in this video?

    <a href="http://static.howstuffworks.com/mpeg/q336.mpg" target="_blank">http://static.howstuffworks.com/mpeg/q336.mpg</a>

Do you get the flicker at every resolution setting? or just certain ones?

Some monitors only support 59hz at max resolution, and NS2 may default to 60.

I'm going to venture a guess and say Koruyo has an ATI (excuse me, AMD) card. I've seen a similar effect before and I know it's not my video card or monitor AMD 5870. Everything looked fine, but when I started messing with the quality settings I began to get a similar effect. Basically, it creates strips on some surfaces that appear to be perpendicular to the player/camera position. I'll try to capture it sometime.

I suspect it has something to do with specific materials ("texutres") and the shadows. Something is combining to create the pseudo scan-lines. Btw, this glitch appears regardless of my V-sync setting.

Turning shadows off doesnt help btw.

now ill try vsync (with and without triple buffer in the driver settings)
edit: it helps a bit, but still visible.

PS: Dont focus on game objects or details, look at your whole picture... best seeable in darker areas, but still its not the shadows... its the whole screen.

I got a Benq E2400HD, Some ppl @google say this monitor only has 59hz @ 1080p, but i have 59 and 60hz in the options menu. (the nvidia driver says 60hz, windows screens 59 + 60hz in a dropdown menu)
    Changing resolutions doesnt help either.
I dont have this problem in other games.

No problem on my laptop, so maybe you are right with the 59hz stuff...!
