Sound Problem

For I dunno if this is a problem I?m experiencing, or if its just standart, I already apologize for asking if its not <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I just played the Mod the first time, marine of course, and I really have a hell of a time to figure out what this Speeches are up to, cuase they sound like emntiond extemly low and dump, just as if someone pulls his Shirt over his head.... mh.. more a PACK of Tshirts before speaking. Can you figure out what I?m about?
Its incredible hard to understand what a friendly player wants me to do if you just hear a mhmmhbmbmhmumpf move or something...
all other sounds I encountered so far played well, my own messages sound clearly...

Anyone got an idea?

Edit: The Sounds in the NS Menu sound that way too... continue to check this out...

Uhh, players speaking into the mic sounds like that.
If the .wavs that came with the mod are like that, you should update your drivers.

Just checked, sound as they should...

As mentioned, this is probably just due to the sound setup of the marine you are talking to. Other possible issues could be your soundcard and lag.

I have heard many people sound similarly muffled on the voice com, but people with a good setup are crystal clear.
Again, if you or the other marine is seeing a lot of lag, that can be an issue too.

First bind a button for it in your console, I personally alreasy had mine setup for CS, so I'm not sure if NS has one but try and go to programs > NS> see if it has a voice com setup if not try your cs one. or if you haven't played CS, your wierd. very very weird
