    Hi,
Do you have 2 separate keys and accounts or just use 1 on both at different times?

You can simply copy the entire steam folder across if same account. If diff account, copy the common folder where NS2 resides.

I just started the download on STEAM on my server (To make the directory common/natural selection 2). Then I closed STEAM - copied all contents from steamapps\common\natural selection 2 to the directory on my server (your target laptop). After it was copied I started the download in STEAM in which it just verifys the files and it's good to go.
