crash when starting?

hey guys when i try to run natural selection 2 through steam it starts it loads i dont change my settings but when i run crate game and it starts hosting it freezes at authenticating then the windows error has occurred thing comes up
even wafer changing my resolution run windowed off etc it still happens
anyone got a fix for it?

Wait until the alpha comes out.. lots of bugs fixed in that version, the version you have is a couple of months old
