Vary Disappointed!

This game has taken way to long I was hoping to be able to play it I have a 3ghz Core 2 Duo evga 240[edit" GT] 1gb video card OS XP and everytime i load the engine test it comes up and then locks up I was hoping this game would be in atleast alpha by now guess not...
Leaving with US Marine Corps soon so it does not look like i'll be playing NS2 sadly, anyways I wish this game the best! When I get back prepare yo selfs for an asskickin!

    My disappointment also varies.

    How about being patient. The engine test is a pre-alpha. It's worked on most systems well considering. If it's not working on your system, I would suggest you update your GFX drivers, or your OS. Something sounds broken somewhere.

    Helps to define what your computer is if you are going to complain that it doesn't work on it.

    Although without a more in-depth bug report it is admittedly not too helpful.

    If I understood him right, he varies about being dissapointed, and it is sad that ns2 is not out yet, but thats just sad, and what makes him vary dissapointed is that the engine test does not work on his computer.

    This is also worse because he have to leave to the army, which makes it not very much testing of engine test even if it get fixed immediatelly, and in the army he will die, as he said "so it does not look like i'll be playing NS2 sadly", but when he comes back from death he will kick our asses in ns2.

    The VAC forums troll me automatically. Now, I realize 99% of posts are from cheaters, but the real problem I have is admins and regulars claim VAC is infallible and always right. Well, that's wrong -- VAC bans have been rolled back in the past due to mistakes. It makes me wonder how many mistakes have been made that were not rolled back.

    Don't worry by the time you come back from service, it will still be in the making :P
    Chillax, plenty of other games to play for the time, this isn't EA whipping their developers to death for a release date yesterday even if the game is broken and sucks. =D

    There's a reason I don't ever go there. I've heard it's a hellhole :P

    And I'd say VAC2 is mostly infallible. As I recall it only looks for hacks that are known to the program, modified core dlls, and memory injection. If you don't do that while connected to a VAC secured server you're fine.
