Aliens or Marines?

So, seeing as these forums don't have a poll option, I'll just tally the votes as they come in.

All you have to do is vote for Marines or Aliens for your favourite race in the Natural Selection universe, preferably with a short reason for why you like them.

EG:

if it's anything like NS1, then i'll be alien.. but still playing 50% of the time marines just because they where just soo cool to play

Aliens - Because they have way more options for single and group combat where you can change between your battle-style.

But for me it's mostly 50/50. Marines are awesome, too.

Aliens. More difficult to omg-wtf-pwn with. And a LOT more fun to do so with. Also, more interesting in general. I like the wall climbing and gliding provided.

Definitely aliens.

If I want a human fps, there are hundreds of those.
If I want to be climbing through vents, spitting out chambers, and slamming through doors, ns is the only place to be :)

In NS1, I loved playing marines when there was a good commander that kept you interested. If the commander was no good, I'd much rather be playing aliens. I guess in the end I played 50/50...maybe a little more aliens, but when I knew a good commander was playing, I'd always try to join marines. But if I HAD to say one way or the other, I'd say aliens.

Im quite 50/50 but ofc I allways loved being the Commander over all
It's just so cool to order your team member around. Especially on a LAN where you:
1. Know everyone
2. You can really play some strategies, especially some of those which would never be possible in a online ffa match because you can just punish the idiot who ruined your masterplan xD

I'm voting marines...

However, I'll add, the reason marines are fun is BECAUSE of aliens. If this game wasn't set up as melee vs ranged the way it is, neither side would be nearly so fun to play in my opinion. It's FUN to shoot skulks one after another as they swarm in and rush you, and then OFUCALERKONMYHEAD

My fav for play leans towards the Kharra, though I do like commanding.

I like playing aliens because I like different methods of killing the other team, rather than the normal FPS features.
