Can we get an Icon for Pre-buying?

Since I pre-ordered, and bought the 'special' package, can we get Con Icons for NS1?! Its sort of a 'donation'. :P

    I doubt that's going to happen. The Constie program is there for a reason. Since everyone pre-ordered the special edition pretty much, that is a lot of STEAM IDs they have to look after as well, which takes too much time away from development.

    I think the general consensus was that by buying the premium edition you were proud of helping out UW not only financially but also in a way to make this game the best it can be (through alpha testing). Most people don't really care about the recognition, as long as they helped the game become BADASS. Buying premium was my way of thanking them for all those great NS games and many amazing NS2 games to come, Icon's/Different player models had nothing to do with it.

    I agree that the armor is more than enough as a 'bonus' preorder, however that being said it would be nice to have an equivalent skin modification on the Kharaa. Whether or not this would create too many modelling complications would been feedback the devs would have to provide, since the aliens do have a lot more models. that being said I would have bought the $40 version simply to help support the team that brought us the original NS as a free mod.

    adjusting colors of a finished texture only isnt that much of a work. I would appreciate it if there would be special skins for the kharaa aswell, but I will not complain if there are none.

    the ns toothpicks are really just made of a mix of meat by-products and grinded glowies... Now just press this paste into a toothpick shape, ready to sell...
