...and now it's stuck in mine.

That said, though, Jim is probably one of the least interesting franchises Interplay could resurrect, if I had any faith in them doing so to anything. Unless they turned it into some sort of hilarious action adventure game like Psychonauts.

I read that and thought you meant Uwe Boll. Then my mind went on to imagine an Earthworm Jim film made by Uwe Boll.

DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN

UWE probably haven't broke even. You can't buy a company without a profit margin let alone while you're in the red with only one commercial game (ZoS).

They mentioned in a podcast a while back they were out of the red(I think it was the XNA one but I'm not sure). Although that will probably change soon since they hired a couple new artists with the funding from their investors.

The balance may be clear but in the way of UWE's sole assets they're probably broke as I'd imagine the main bulk of their funds belongs to investors?

It does now. I was just being a bit pedantic in saying that they did get out of the red for a while based on ZoS and Decoda. I still agree with you that UWE has never had anywhere near enough capital to buy another company, let alone a well known brand name. I thought that maybe the bit of information that they're actually doing okay would be a pleasant surprise.

Companies in millions of pounds worth of mnanageable debt do okay and even well, no need to reassure any random person about that <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

/me enjoys the confusion over my statements which was a bit cynical humor, a bit unrealistic want, and a bit praise for both Descent and NS

Apple selling an affordable and purposeful PC?
