Nope, he flew the Ganthritor into the Overmind and killed it, but Kerrigan, Queen of Blades took control

In doing so, I forgave Tassadar and proclaimed him a hero of all Protoss. Then I had breakfast, and ordered some people to construct more Pylons. We never have enough of those...

Yeah, man. We need additional pylons.

    Things that I must say:
    Lurkers, woot!
    Zerglings, WOOOT!
    Burrowing ultralisks! woot!
Crazy sneaky things moving underground and urinating on Terran barracks' to infest them and spawn infested marines (who shoot), woot!
    Flying spaghetti monsters, woot!

i'm not a big fan of suicide units, and they seem to be used a lot. i hope that isnt a necessary tactic. i do like everything else though

Ye, urination really describes that best...

Kamikaze zerglings is quite ironical when you consider that skulks are basically a zergling clone.

Not much :/ Blizzard just like ending their gameplay videos with a giant battle so we can all "OOOoohh" and "AAhh" over the GRAFIX.

Zerg look way too WC3-ish for my liking :| Btw, starcraft2.com has just been updated with Zerg lore, hydralisk and mutalisk section.

Better quality Zerg cinematic + some gameplay video here:

Because some people enjoy thinking when they play. There are lots of games that aren't complicated, including a few RTS games, and lots that are, including many RTS games.

I'm not saying those people are superior in their tastes, or that only smart people can play RTS games. I'm saying that some people enjoy games that make their mind work quickly, some enjoy games that make their mind work smart, and some enjoy games that let you just sit back and rely on your reflexes. I enjoy all three, but if someone only enjoys one type or two types, that doesn't say anything about their intelligence any more than whether or not someone likes classical music or science fiction books.

And no, DiscoZombie, all RTS games don't work like that. Some do, and I don't find that kind of play enjoyable. Some people do, though, and that's their choice.

let's be honest: if this is what you meant by your previous post, you would have said 'Some people enjoy more strategic gameplay' or something, rather than 'some people enjoy thinking when they play.' you should at least be honest with yourself and others about your trolling =p people who enjoy RTS games do not enjoy thinking while playing games any more than people who don't have the patience for RTS games.

and yes, all RTS games I've played do work like that - starcraft especially. you have to lose a whole lot before you learn what works. maybe if you're an RTS veteran, picking up a new RTS will come more naturally, but learning what works vs. what, and when to research this or that, is pretty much trial and error. also, I would even go so far as to say that reflexes are more important in competitive RTS games than in FPS games, since you really need to play them long enough for micromanagement to truly become reflexive in order to stand a chance.

at least when it comes to RTS games, I usually enjoy the single player campaigns, even if I don't have the patience to learn multiplayer strategy. I hope SC2 has decent single player.

Vocal cords are particularly resistant to assimilation. In Starcraft 3, though, the new Vocoder will be able to infect enemy vocal cords and take control of them temporarily. How this plays out in professional play remains to be seen.

Agreed, she doesn't sound anything like she did in Starcraft. Boo.

Zerg are my favourite race by far. They're insidious, quick to expand and are awesome for lightning hit-and-run attacks. Mmmm.
