If you're going to live in the Big Apple leave your car behind - you won't need it.

I would imagine he's not bringing it over from Taiwan of Thailand or wherever he lives, assuming he has one. That would just be a lot of trouble.

If that's the case, then he needs to know that he won't need to buy one when he gets here.

Not that it matters now, but I've always been fairly assertive in my interviews. I've always given the attitude that I'm not going to grovel for the job, but am genuinely interested in it. Because in my eyes, its them who need me more than I need them. Look them in the eyes (not stare) and sound confident in yourself because you know what you want.

Hee, I have been studying in the US for 6 years man. But being a cheap ######, I still have yet to buy a car. I don't have enough stuffs in my apartment to justify a U-Haul, probably just going to mail most stuffs over and rent a car for my computer + 4 bags of cloth

sounds like good advice. as for Dr. S: I hope the CEO isn't as much of an ass when you work for him as he was in the interview <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

gratzi! I'll probably be moving there myself in a few years after my husband (to-be) graduates.
