On July 1st, 2006 a long time fan got very tired of the lack of ReBoot over the 5-6 years since the cliffhanger of season 4. He thought up the idea to contact the voice actors for help, which then expanded into contacting the staff. From then on the idea evolved. By June 23rd, a myspace page was created to gather the fans from that online community.

Fans were completely in the dark about Mainframe Entertainment’s interest in continuing the series until an anonymous MFE employee stated that (un-officially) MFE was interested in making more, yet needs the funding from a network to do so.

Further plans are in the works to attract even more old time fans, and possibly catch the attention of a curious web surfer.

The overall goal of this “Revival of ReBoot” is to find a television network that will fund Mainframe Entertainment in creating that long sought after ending to season 4, and possibly new episodes after that.

For this to have even the slightest chance of succeeding, we need all the fans to join up.

I enjoyed reboot as a kid but I havn't seen the show in forever. I know that enough time passed for some characters to "grow up" but I've never seen what happened.

was season 4 was never even completed?
I'd need to catch up storywise before I promoted the continuation of the program - for now I just dont know enough about the direction of the show to say "yea lets make more"

(ps. just finish my last exam and I'm wrecked sorry if this makes no sense, i'm trying to proof read)

nah, i'm sure wikipedia would provide me with one - plus it's no substitute for the show.

I guess the big question is .. is it worth reviving?

Now that's sweet. I finished watching it all some time ago, and the cliffhanger was killer. Hopefully the revival will be worth it and not be some big flop.

I wonder if it's going to be in the same style, or it'll get a bit of a makeover, sticking to the story it left off?

(Shame for Tony Jay, he had a great voice :/)

I had nightmares about that one chick when I was learning Hex...

This show is evil and amazing at the same time because of that.

My vote is polled in favor. All ye who would stand with me, raise thine hands!

Dunno if you're kidding, but yeah... if they didn't beat the user in the certian game a part of the town would be destroyed... or something.

I remember when Hexidecimal and Megabyte came together to form Gigabyte, at the time that was half of my HD space and I thought "That's one hell of a virus."

The best was Season 3... or whatever when they went to the internet.

I never understood why people go ga-ga for this show, either as kids or not. I never liked it one bit.

Dude. He is posting on a Half-Life 1 mod game message board.

I used to watch it religiously, then it must have jumped the shark somewhere. I don't remember why I stopped watching it. The season where they went to the Internet got me back for awhile. I love it when kid sidekick grew up and got a hot chick.

Oh don't even start with me. My problem with Reboot was mostly how ugly it was; I just couldn't stand training my eyes on that thing for more than minute or two at a time. It didn't help that some of the voice actors were annoying and that they were obviously just trying to rip off TRON and doing it wrong. So very, very wrong.

Show was funny/awesome back in the day I wouldn't mind watching it again since I forgot mostly everything.

That show needs to die. Then burn. Then it's ashes burn more.

The show will never be enjoyable without Tony Jay.
