Easily one of the funniest I've ever seen, with some of the best music and voice-acting as well (won numerous awards IIRC..). An instant favorite for me. I highly recommend it.

By the way, what's the deal about BPS (Battle Programmer Shirase)? It only has 15 episodes ?

It kinda liked it but was definitivly too short (12 min per episodes). It wasn't the best show I ever saw but then again, it is not the worst.

Did they ever continued it ?

fun fact: Haruhi is almost tied with Eva for the "Most Soundtracks Released for a Short Series" award (last i checked, eva had 19 and haruhi had 18. numbers include OSTs, singles, drama/radio CDs and CVAs)

Well, this isn't anime, but what's Deathnote about? I see my friends reading it and it's on peoples sigs and such. I guess it's about some death-note and someone dies after reading it... Well, the art reminds me of Inuyasha in a way. Not cute, but not gritty Ninja Scroll either. Er, what makes this special than tons of other stuff out there.

I gave up on watching the Death Note Anime it goes down hill mid series imo I ended up watching both the live action movies last week and I'd recommend that you go for them instead :O

Nah Deathnote is good up until about halfway through the series.

Then it REALLY starts to go downhill.

i remember that show. i watched a few episodes before getting too freaked out to continue. The very first scene of the first episode is some kid beating a corpse bloody with a baseball bat <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/marine.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::marine::" border="0" alt="marine.gif" /> </spoiler!> not for the faint of heart.

For everyone not knowing it. The anime is in 8 chapters. 3 or 4 episodes each. They always show the same few days. But every chapter shows a little more or different things than the last. Its freaky. I'm at 8 right now. Can't complete it right now, it's kinda gettin on my nerves since I had to pause for 3 weeks.

Hardly, when Light/Laito/Raito(However anal you like to get about Japanese) thinks he's "In power" and he teams up with L to find Kira it's just dumb. There's some good writing in there, but the plot becomes really ridiculous and stupid, then Nello(Or whoever the f*ck) and that other guy get introduced and they're boring characters. The whole story should have been Light on the run trying to frame everyone else for his doings, not becoming the chief of police.

I watched Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni save for the last arc of the first season.

It's based on a horror mystery visual novel of the same name for the PC. It's actually good if you're into murder mysteries and whatnot.

It tends to confuse a few people as it is seperated into different arcs. It should all be clarified and tie up all the arcs with the second season though. I think it's bound for this summer.
