Keyboard Freezing...

<div class="IPBDescription">Only when I press a certain key in NS</div> Okay, whenever I play any game on any server my keyboard eventually freezes and all I can do is aim the gun with my mouse and jump like an idiot in one place. My keyboard only freezes for THIS MOD and nothing else, Ive managed to determine thats it freezes when I press the key for "Team Chat", Ive tried different bindings but nothing works. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Why is my keyboard freezing when I just press one button? Why is it confined to this one mod? I did a search for "Keyboard" but nothing came up that answers my question.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    It doenst matter which button I press when I bind "Team chat", it still continues to freeze only when I try to team chat. But currently I have it binded to Kp_minus.

    Specs:

    Windows ME
    256 Ram
    Pentium 3 1000mhz
    Plenty of Hard drive space
    Memorex Ts1000 Keyboard
    Logitech Mouse
    Geforce 2
    Sound Blaster Live

    Anyother info, let me know.

    Oh, so it's not the -key- but the command.

    Are there any bizarre ways you're joining teams? Not going through the doors? Switching teams a lot? Does it only happen when alive, or dead?

    Hmmm, well no bizarre ways, I either join via "random" door or "alien or marine"door. Rarely I do switch teams, only when it seems unfair. Mostly when I join a team I stick to it to the end. This "command" freeze happens when Im alive and dead.

    At first I thought it was just when I was the commander, but now its freezing when Im even a marine or alien.

    Have you tried reinstalling HL and NS?

    You aren't the only one with this problem.

    Hell I thought my motherboard was just messed up... Guess its not :X :X :X

    I even got 2 new keyboards (took one back and exchanged it for this one now) and it still happens. So it is NS after all... doh :/

    guess i'll just have to bind a mouse key to quit.. heh

    although its not just on team_chat for me, it seems to be 100% completely random...
